Alexia Salingaros is a New York City-based director and colorist born in San Antonio, Texas, who is currently enrolled in the film program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Alexia has colored countless narrative and commercial projects for a diverse list of clients including Vogue, Dazed Magazine, Democratic Attorney Generals of America, and West Elm. Her music video work has been premiered on Billboard Magazine and Vogue Magazine.
Her directorial projects, including the 2016 SXSW Grand Jury Prize for Best High School Short “Lady of Paint Creek”, have screened at over 100 film festivals world-wide. Other awards have been received from festivals including Tribeca (I Am America Competition), CineYouth, Dances with Kids, SAFILM, and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
