In April 2016, I was invited to participate as a finalist in the "I Am America Youth Film Competition", a sub-category of the Tribeca Film Festival. I was paired with an incredible mentor, Musa Syeed, and asked to make changes to the original version of the film in order to better fit the competition requirements. Below is the final film that screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Durga Suryadevara, a working psychiatrist and mother of three, pursues a life-long dream of practicing a sacred classical Indian dance form in the modern, urban environment of San Antonio.

Truly incredible what these young filmmakers have managed to bring to the screen.
